Actor Simbu is hospitalized

Tamil actor Simbu, whose most recent release is 'The Loop' ('Maanadu' in Tamil), was this afternoon admitted to a private hospital in Chennai. Early reports have said that the hospitalization has nothing to do with any Covid-19 infection.

Simbu, who is known for 'Manmadha', has been suffering from a viral infection. It seems to be a throat infection.
The actor, on the work front, has been basking in the success of his most recent flick, which also featured Kalyani Priyadarshan, SJ Suryah, among others. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, it is produced by Suresh Kamatchi. The talented actor is also doing Gautham Menon's 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu', which will hit the screens next year.
In his most recent interview, Simbu said that he is thankful that the Telugu audience love him. He has plans to do films that can do well in the Telugu States as well.
