Tamil actor Simbu aka Silambarasan is in the news for an emotional reason. The versatile actor, who is eagerly looking forward to the release of his film 'Maanaadu', today spoke at the action entertainer's pre-release event in Chennai. His speech was peppered with emotional anecdotes.

The actor, reports say, was previously issued a red card that was cancelled recently. However, issues surrounding him have lingered on. While speaking at the event today, Simbu broke into tears. He said, "I will manage my problems, but I urge you all (referring to fans) to take care of me." As he fought back tears, many fans chanted Simbu's name and hailed him.

'Maanaadu', which is directed by Venkat Prabhu, also features SJ Suryah, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Premgi Amaren. It will hit the silver screens in multiple languages on November 25.

Simbu will next be seen on 'Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu' with Gautham Menon, and the film marks the actor's third collaboration with the director.
