Film industry celebrities rarely comment on public issues but in this era of social media many youngsters from the industry have started voicing their opinion in their social media pages. Actor Siddharth is one among the younger generation stars who is known for boldly articulating his views in public.
The 'Aaydha Ezhuthu' actor has now opened up about the Central Government's ban on selling cattle for slaughter in animal markets which is perceived as a ban on beef food. He also spoke about the violent spat between two youngsters in IIT Madras over conducting a beef fest protest.
Dear #BJP you have power. Empower #India. Stay out of people's private choices. Stop this #Hindu nation narrative. We are better than that.

The row about #cattle markets is unnecessary and only polarises people. State govts allow or disallow slaughter. #Center should stay out.

Most of us are neither #bhakts nor #libtards or whatever these ugly names are. We are just #Indians. Live and let live. Stop the hate!

Broken face and broken arm got into a fight. Who hit whom? & since when did #IIT students start whacking each other? pic.twitter.com/S38R7ckE7u
