Actor Sarath Appani and his wife Reshma welcomed their second child, a baby boy. Taking to his social media handle, Sarath announced the happy news. “Extremely delighted to announce the newest member of our family… welcoming our second bundle of joy! We have been blessed with a baby Boy ???? Immensely happy and thanks to everyone for the blessing, love, and wishes ?? (sic),” wrote Sarath Appani said in his post sharing alongside a picture of his son's cute tiny hands.

It was recently the actor announced that he and his wife Reshma, who are parents to their adorable daughter Thiyyamma, announced that they were expecting their second child. “Of all the titles I’ve been privileged to have, "Dad" has always been the best. And I’m glad to be titled for the second time. “Above all can't express how eager and excited my daughter "Thiyyama" is right now waiting to welcome her partner ????Thanks a ton to the Almighty ??for all the positive things happening around us…,” Sarath Appani said in his previous post. He also shared an adorable family picture.

Sarath Appani got married to Reshma in 2017. He welcomed his first baby in 2018. He ventured into films with filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery's 2017 movie 'Angamaly Diaries'. Sarath essayed Appani Ravi, the antagonist in the film. With the massive success of the film, the actor got known by his character name Appani among the audiences.

His second movie was ‘Velipadinte Pusthakam’ with popular filmmaker Lal Jose and the song ‘Entemmade Jimikki Kammal’ topped charts across the world. He also stepped into Tamil with the Mani Ratnam movie 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam'. His upcoming movies are ‘Chaaram’, 'Chunkkam Kittiya Aatinkutty', ‘Mission- C’ and ‘Mea Culpa.
