Actor Sachiin Joshi of 'Next Enti?', 'Veedevadu' and 'Amavasya' fame is also an entrepreneur. Years ago, he paid more than Rs 18.50 lakh to Satyug Gold, a company promoted by Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty and her husband Raj Kundra, as part of a scheme. After he paid the huge amount, Joshi was asked to shell out Rs 25 lakh more if he wanted to get possession of gold worth Rs 18.50 lakh.

Needless to say, the condition put forth by Satyug Gold didn't make sense to Joshi, who moved the court. On Thursday, the actor-entrepreneur won the case after years of the legal battle. The court, in its verdict, said that Joshi must be given possession of the gold owed to him, besides Rs 3 lakh as compensation for having to fight the legal battle.

Speaking to a media house, Joshi said that he can imagine the plight of the common man who had invested in Satyug Gold believing in the words of its promoters.

It may be noted that Raj Kundra is currently in police custody in connection with a different case. Earlier this week, he was arrested for allegedly being part of selling online pornography.
