Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who was recently seen in Sridevi's 'MOM' in the role of a private detective, has called out the racism that is allegedly prevalent in Bollywood.
In a tweet, he alluded to how he was left out by the makers of a movie just because of his skin colour. "Thank you for making me realise that I cannot be paired along with the fair and handsome because I am dark and not good looking. But I never focus on that," he has said, without naming anybody.
The tweet has put Bollywood in the midst of yet another controversy. Even as the nepotism debate is still raging, the alleged racism in India's richest industry is sure to find its share of vehement debating.
