Veteran actor and mimicry artiste passes away

Veteran actor and mimicry artiste Rocket Ramanathan passed away aged 74. One of the pioneers in mimicry he used to be a regular on stage shows, orchestras and Doordarshan. Ramanathan made his movie debut in the seventies as a comedian in 'Sparisam' and went on to do many other films. The high point in his career is a role with both Kamal Haasan and Vijayakanth in 'Manakanakku'. Ramanathan is survived by his wife a son and a daughter.
