Director and actor Parthiban had last appeared on screen in the movie Ayogya. Starring Vishal in lead role, the movie directed by debutant Venkat Mohan had Parthiban playing the villain, and his humour filled villainy had received good response.

Following this the actor has his next release, his return to direction after Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga - Oththa Seruppu all set to release this week. The movie which has the record of being a film written, produced, directed and performed by a single person is releasing on September 20.

Now another movie starring Parthiban has also announced its release date. The long delayed heist comedy Thittam Poattu Thirudura Koootam starring Kayal Chandran, Pichaikaran heroine Satna Titus and Parthiban in a key role is set to release on September 27. Also starring Daniel and Chams, the movie is about a gang that plans to steal the worldcup.
