Tamil Nadu in general and Chennai in particular has witnessed incessant rains for the third time within two weeks and most of the low lying areas have been flooded. Boats have been deployed in some of the areas to rescue those stranded as more inclement weather has been predicted for the following one week atleast.
Meanwhile, a video of actor Mansoor Ali Khan rowing a boat has gone viral. In the hilarious clip he is seen singing a Tamil song roughly translated as “One has to take birth in Tamil Nadu and float in the Chennai rains…If at all one should be born as a Tamilian and try driving a car in Chennai…The rivers Kaveri, Thenaaru and Paalaaru are all flowing in Chennai.”
Manzoor known for his hilarious political statements from time to time has caught the imagination of the netizens once again by his boat ride video as well.
