Actor-Director Manobala and his wife Usha Manobala's son Harish got married to Priya on Sunday and the wedding reception was held at the Le Meridian hotel in Chennai.  The bride is the daughter of T.A. Mohan and Mohanalaskhmi.  The occasion was graced by several high profile celebrities including Tamil Nadu Deputy CM, O. Paneerselvam, Opposition leader M.K. Stalin, directors Shankar, Linguswamy, H. Vinod, actors Karthi, Vishal, Arun Vijay, Udayanidhi Stalin, Sathyaraj, Gowndamani and others.

Manobala who started his career as an assistant director of Bharathiraja went on to direct more than forty films including Rajinikanth's 'Oorkavalan', Vijayakanth's ' 'En Purushanthaan Enakku Mattumthaan' and Mohan's 'Pillai Nila'.  He later became a comedian and is continuing to be very popular for his timing jokes and is also busy producing films.
