Manikandan R Achari made a huge impact with his very first film 'Kamattipadam' in Malayalam and has ever since been one of the most sought after actors in Mollywood. He got engaged to Anjaly a few months back and the wedding happened in a simple manner with just family members at a temple on Sunday morning.
Manikandan who made his Tamil debut with Superstar Rajinikanth and Vijay Sethupathi in 'Petta' released a video on Saturday in which he has stated “Hello, I am Manikandan. Not saying much, you all know everything. Tomorrow, 26th, Sunday, is my wedding. (We) decided to make it simple, with only family members attending it. At a temple nearby, there will be the thalikettu (tying of the knot). Your mental presence and blessings will be there, I hope. If you’d like join the wedding celebration, do post videos or wishes online. Hope you are all there with me. After this (COVID-19) is over, I hope to get together with all of you, for a celebration of some sort,”
Manikandan has donated the entire amount that would have been spent for a grand wedding to the Kerala Chief Ministers Disaster Relief Fund to fight against the deadly coronavirus. Great going indeed and here is wishing the newly weds the very best for a bright future.
