Navarasa Nayagan Karthik in a critically acclaimed blockbuster movie remake?

Actor Karthik hailed as the Navarasa Nayagan always remains a fan favorite star even though he has not been seen in new movies for a few years. The news that is trickling in is that he is in talks for a biggie which is none other than the Tamil remake of the critically acclaimed Bollywood blockbuster hit 'Andhadhun'.
The 'Andhadhun' Tamil remake is already announced with Mohan Raja as the director and Prashanth playing the lead role of a blind pianist played by Ayushman Khurrana in the original. It is said that the team has approached Karthik to play the pivotal role of a yesteryear actor who cannot get out of his stardom. The role was originally played by veteran Hindi actor Anil Dhawan.
There is word that the key negative character in 'Andhadhun' done brilliantly by Tabu is likely to be portrayed by Ramya Krishnan and if the team convinces Karthik they will be playing a pair for the first time in their long careers.
