The elections for Tamil Nadu is scheduled on April 18 and with just few days left, the election campaigning has been happening in an aggressive mode, with politicians, candidates and film celebrities campaigning to win hearts and convert them into votes and reach the thrones.

BJP, Congress and various parties have been campaigning by explaining and showcasing the various welfare schemes they have planned to launch for the people, and actor Karthik has been campaigning for ADMK and its allied parties, and recently he was in Thoothukudi campaigning for BJP's Tamilisai Soundararajan, and delivered a strong speech.

During his fiery speech, Karthik said that he was ready to take guns in his hands and go to the border and fight for the nation, and that he had initially wanted to be a pilot and got trained in National defence academy but fate had turned him an actor. The patriotic Karthik said that seeing the response ADMK alliance is getting in the city, he felt that it was a right decision he had made to campaign for the party.
