In a shocking turn of events, controversy has erupted surrounding the Tirupati Laddus, the sacred offering of the esteemed Venkateswara Temple. Reports of beef fat and fish oil being found in the ghee used for the laddus have shocked devotees across the country.
During the pre-release event for 'Meiyazhagan' in Hyderabad, actor Karthi was asked to comment on the issue. Karthi, clearly cautious about the sensitive nature of the topic, responded, "We should not talk about the laddu now. It is a sensitive topic." His remarks quickly drew a sharp reaction from Pawan Kalyan, Andhra Pradesh’s Deputy CM, who voiced his displeasure.
"If individuals from the film industry wish to discuss the matter, they should either support it or stay silent. I respect you as actors but don't you ever dare say it a sensitive issue and avoid talking about it," said Pawan Kalyan. His comments are going viral across social media platforms.
In response to the escalating situation, Karthi issued a public apology, writing, "Dear @PawanKalyan sir, with deep respect to you, I apologize for any unintended misunderstanding caused. As a humble devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I always hold our traditions dear. Best regards." The incident has sparked a stir in the film industry.
