In a shocking turn of events, controversy has erupted surrounding the Tirupati Laddus, the sacred offering of the esteemed Venkateswara Temple. Reports of beef fat and fish oil being found in the ghee used for the laddus have shocked devotees across the country.
During the pre-release event for 'Meiyazhagan' in Hyderabad, actor Karthi was asked to comment on the issue. Karthi, clearly cautious about the sensitive nature of the topic, responded, We should not talk about the laddu now. It is a sensitive topic.
