Jayaram and Parvathy are overjoyed this year as they celebrate the arrival of both a son and a daughter into their family.

“Our family has grown now. We have a son and a daughter,” Jayaram shared after his son Kalidas's wedding. Parvathy, too, is thrilled to embrace the role of a double mother-in-law.

Seven months ago, on May 3, their daughter Malavika tied the knot with Navneet Girish, a chartered accountant based in the UK. The traditional wedding took place in Guruvayur with only close family in attendance. Malavika’s stunning red silk sari in Tamil style captured much attention, and the wedding reception was held in Thrissur.

Now, their son Kalidas has also entered married life. His wedding to Tarini, a member of the prominent Kalingarayan family of Chennai, took place between 7:30 and 7:45 am at the Guruvayur temple.

After three and a half years of love, the couple exchanged vows with Kalidas adorned in a Tulsi garland and tying the knot with a thalli at the wedding hall set up before the temple’s flag tree.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including Minister Muhammad Riyaz, Suresh Gopi, Gokul Suresh, and other notable figures from the film and political worlds. The wedding reception was held in Chennai on the 11th.
