Shanthi Hamsavardan (42), daughter-in-law of famous actor Ravichandran and wife of actor Hamsavardan, passed away yesterday of Covid 19 infection.
Shanti suffered from corona infection last month and was treated at a private hospital. Even after her test results turned negative, Shanti continued to receive treatment as she had difficulty in breathing. She succumbed to the injuries last evening. The couple had two sons and a daughter.
Shanthi’s body was brought to her home in Teynampet and will be cremated at Besant Nagar Electric Cemetery at 2.30 pm today.
