Popular south Indian actor Guinness Pakri aka Ajay Kumar recently recovered from COVID-19. Sharing a video of his days in the hospital, the actor announced the same through his Facebook handle.

Urging everyone to wear a mask and take up the vaccination for COVID-19, Pakru wrote, “Finally COVID found me too. I recovered from the disease after undergoing treatment at the hospital and taking rest at home. I will be back to work soon. Everybody, please take care. Never remove your mask. Take your vaccine shots and be safe."

It was recently Pakru hit the headlines by winning the best actor award at Ahmedabad International Children's Film Festival. He bagged the award for his performance in the movie ‘Ilayaraja’.

The movie directed by Madhava Ramdas has Pakru portraying the role of Vanajan, a peanut seller at Thrissur Swaraj round. The movie featured the survival of Vanajan from the challenges of life.
