35 year old actor dies while participating in Television reality show

Reality shows are the in thing now all across the globe and most of the time its fun for both the participants and the viewers. However, the show Chase Me which is designed to push contestants to their physical limits such as climbing up a high building and ziplining down has cost the life of a young actor though it is still unknown if exertion caused his demise.

Taiwan born Canada raised Godfrey Gao aged 35 participated as a guest in the Chinese reality show 'Chase Me' and while running suddenly slowed down and collapsed to the ground. He was first helped by the on set paramedical team and then rushed to a hospital but passed away after three hours in spite of the best efforts by the doctors to save him. It has been said that Gao suffered a massive heart attack.

Godfrey Gao is famous for his Hollywood action movie 'The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones' and the Chinese serial 'Remembering Lichuan'. He was also the first Asian model to be signed by the luxury brand Louis Vuitton as ambassador.
