Gautham Karthik the son of yesteryear top hero Navarasa Nayagan Karthik has been making a name for himself ever since he debuted in Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' released in the year 2013. He recently got married to actress Manjima Mohan after the couple fell in love while shooting together for the movie 'Devarattam'.

It is well known that Karthik's father Muthuraman was also a top versatile actor during the MGR-Sivaji Ganesan era. On his birth anniversary today, Gautham penned an emotional note about his grandfather who he never met.

Gautham Karthik is currently acting in 'Mr. X' alongwith Arya and Manju Warrier and his next release is 'Criminal' in which he has costarred with Sarathkumar, Janani and Subatra Robert.
