Actor Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar enters wedlock

After dating for several years, Bollywood actor and filmmakers Farhan Akhtar tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Shibani Dandekar, who is an actor and singer. The couple exchanged vows in Khandala at his dad Javed Akhtar and his wife Shabana Azmi's home, Sukoon. The wedding festivities began on February 17th and all the celebrations were an extremely intimate affair with only close friends and family in attendance. A few pictures and dance videos from the private wedding have surfaced online and have gone viral on the internet. In one of the videos, we can even see Farhan Akhtar dancing along with his bride to the title track of Dil Chahta Hai which is also Farhan Akhtar's directorial.
Farhan Akhtar was earlier married to Adhuna Bhabani and they have two daughters. Farhan and Adhuna parted ways in 2017 and are now co-parenting their daughters. Farhan Akhtar dates Shibani Dandekar for almost three years before they got married. The couple first met on the sets of the reality show I Can Do It, which aired in 2015. While Farhan was hosting the show, Shibani was a participant. It was on Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's wedding reception, the couple made their first public appearance together.
