Popular Tamil Actor-Director joins BJP

Actor and Director who ruled Kollywood with his family oriented films in the 1980s and 1990s has switched loyalties to BJP political party.
In 2006 Visu made his political entry by joining the AIADMK party lead by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha. Earlier this morning, Visu officially joined the Bharathiya Janatha Party, reposing faith on the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's capability to bring about the much needed Change in the country.
Visu is the latest in the list of Kollywood celebrities who have joined the BJP after the party won the 2014 General Elections with a thumping majority and Modi became the PM at the center. Veteran lyricist, singer and music director Gangai Amaren and actor Nepoleon a former DMK MLA of Villivakkam constituency joined BJP last year.
Visu's super hit films lnclude 'Samsaram Adhu Minsaram', 'Manal Kayiru', 'Penmani Aval Kanmani' and many others. He wrote the screenplay and dialogues for Superstar Rajinikanth's classic comedy 'Thillu Mullu' and 'Netrikkan'. He has anchored and directed Television shows among which Arattai Arangam was so popular.
