Mollywood's most influential actor Dileep was arrested on Monday at 6:30 p.m in connection with the conspiracy behind the actress abduction case in February this year. The arrest happened after many rounds of questioning and investigation.

Last month, Dileep and Nadir Shah was questioned for over 13 hours. Subsequently, Police had also raided the business premises of Dileep's wife and actress Kavya Madhavan. The actor was once again interrogated on July 10th and then arrested. The office of Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan confirmed the news of the arrest.

Reportedly, Dileep`s personal enmity towards the actress has led to the brutal act against the actress. The conspiracy behind the attack was planned since 2013 and it was during the second attempt the actress was attacked on February this year in a moving car near Kochi. More details from the police officials are expected to be out.
