Actor and farmer activist Deep Sidhu passes away in freak accident

Popular actor Deep Sidhu passed away tragically in a road accident on late Tuesday evening. According to eyewitnesses the drivers side of his white Mahindra Scorpio was completely destroyed after the SUV crashed into the rear of a trailer truck. The accident occurred on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway and the actor and his girlfriend were travelling from Delhi to Punjab. The female rider escaped unhurt according to the police sources.
Deep Sidhu a Punjabi actor was also a social activist and took active participation in the long Farmers Protest against three farm laws that were repealed by the government in November 2021. The 38 year old actor was arrested in connection with the Red Fort violence that occurred during the protest. He was out on bail last January.
It is said that Deep Sidhu was planning to get married to his long time girlfriend Reena Rai. The couple often posted photos on social media together and celebrated Valentines Day in a grand manner just a day earlier. He was a lawyer before entering show business and acted as hero in films such as 'Ramta Jogi', 'Jora 10 Numbaria' and 'Jora - The Second Chapter'
