Recently the Tollywood film iSmart Shankar directed by Pokiri maker Puri Jagannadh was released and the movie is running successfully, and even recently the videos of director Ram Gopal Varma celebrating the success by pouring champagne and riding triples in bike went viral.

Now as the movie is running well despite negative reviews actor Jai Akash has made an accusation that iSmart Shankar is a copy of his movie Naan Yaar. Directed by Radha, Naan yaar had released in 2016, and now Jai Akash who watched iSmart shankar has claimed that the core plot and the screenplay are copied from his movie.

Jai Akash has said that he tried contacting Puri Jagannadh and his office and also sent documents with evidences that the movie was copied from Naan Yaar, but there was no response and hence he has now filed a complaint in Tamil film producers council for story theft. Jai Akash has acted in few Tamil movies like Rojavanam, Roja Koottam. etc.
