Sandalwood actor Chiranjeevi Sarja, 39, passed away on Sunday afternoon. The nephew of 'Oke Okkadu' actor Arjun, is survived by wife and former actress Meghana Raj. Early reports say that Chiranjeevi had complained of breathlessness moments before suffering cardiac arrest.

Besides acting in 20 movies since his debut in 2009, Chiru was doing three movies at the time of his passing away. 'Raja Marthanda' is his upcoming movie that has long completed production works.

Condoling his death, actress Sanjjana Galrani wrote, "Cannot believe and I’m in immense shocking state of mind to know that #chiranjeevisarja is no more, very very saddening, my condolences to his family and @meghanaraj at this time of pain and sorrow.Cannot yet digest this fact, my hands are shivering as I write this msg. Very very sad."

Former India cricket Anil Kumble tweeted, "Deeply saddened and shocked to hear the passing away of Chiranjeevi Sarja. A young talent gone too soon. Condolences to his family and friends."
