Bharath Kalyan is the son of late legendary Kannada, Telugu, Tamil actor Kalyan Kumar. Though he made his acting debut in cinema he became more popular as a multilingual television actor. His serials include Apoorva Ragangal, Vamsam and 'Jamila' which is currently airing on Colors TV.

Bharath Kalyan's wife Priyadarshini aged 43 passed away early this morning at 5 am after being in the state of coma for a few weeks. It is said that a few months back she tried paleo diet and the sudden change in the food habits caused a drastic rise in her blood sugar.

Priyadarshini was in a serious condition when she was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai three months back. Later she went into coma and never regained her consciousness. Famil sources have stated that the funeral will be held tomorrow. She is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter. RIP!
