Popular Malayalam and Tamil actor Bala has been hospitlazed due to severe ill health.
and is undergoing treatment in the ICU ward of a private hospital in Kochi. Reports say that he is likely to have a liver transplant soon as his liver is completely damaged.
Bala, the younger brother of director Siruthai Siva, made his debut as a hero in the 2003 Tamil film 'Anbu' and also acted in Tamil films like 'Kadhal Kisu Kisu' and 'Kalinga'. After that he became famous in Malayalam after playing lead and character roles in many films
Bala gained attention from Tamil fans once again by playing the role of Ajith's younger brother 'Veeram' and Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Annaathe' both directed by his elder brother Siruthi Siva.
Doctors are continuing to treat Bala, and his friend Suraj Balakar took to his Instagram page asking everyone to pray for his speedy recovery. Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan, producer Badusha Vishnu Mohan, Swaraj and Vipin rushed to the hospital and inquired about his well-being. Siruthai Siva who is currently shooting 'Suriya 42' is also said to have rushed to Kochi to be with his brother.
Bala who was married to singer Amrutha Suresh has a daughter with her but the couple divorced. He later married Elisabeth who is now taking care of him at the hospital. Bala's most recent Malayalam movie 'Shafikinde Santosham' was released last year.
