Actor Anil Murali of Thani Oruvan and Appa fame passed away

Popular south Indian actor Anil Murali breathed his last on today, The 56-year-old was suffering from liver-related ailments and was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi.
Anil Murali who had acted in over 200 films is a familiar face in Tamil first getting noticed in 'Nimirndhu Nil' and 'Thani Oruvan' and later in Samuthirkani's 'Appa'. His other films include Kodi, 6, Mr. Local, Thondan, Nagesh Thiraiarangam, Jiivi, Naadodigal 2 and was last seen in 'Walter' starring Sibiraj which released earlier this year.
Anil's Malayalam films include Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Joseph, Iyobinte Pusthakam, Baba Kalyani, Forensic, etc. He is survived by wife Suma, son Aditya and daughter Arundhathi.
