Superstar Rajinikanth often receives high profile guests from cinema, politics and other industries at his residence in Poes Garden, Chennai. Today, senior actor Anandraj visited Rajinikanth's house and had a brief meeting with him.
Rajinikanth is expected to take the plunge into politics a move for which his crores and crores of fans have been waiting for the past two decades. His speeches during his meeting with fans indicated that he has decided to join politics and on Friday his elder brother Sathya Narayana Rao has stated that the Superstar will float his own new political party by the end of July.
Anandraj is not only an actor but also a former member of AIADMK which has been ruling the state in its consecutive second term. He is also a staunch loyalist of the deceased Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha.
Anandraj is one of the first and few celebrity members of the AIADMk who openly criticized the MLAs and minister unanimously appointing V.K.Sasikala after the demise of the party's numero uno leader J.Jayalalitha. He also quit the party soon after Sasikala was appointed as the party's General Secretary.
