BJP Woman leader, Sadhineni Yamini, commented on Chiranjeevi and TFI actors saying that they shouldn't be given any preference or importance at all. They opined that the heroes shouldn't be welcomed to Andhra Pradesh, as they are hypocrites and selfish people.
She said in an interview that the actors have become political leaders before 2014 and even got into good minister posts but they never thought about AP after division, indirectly criticising Chiranjeevi.
She further called Film people as opportunists, selfish and highest form of hypocrites. And said that no one responded when Vizag Gas Leak happened, for Special Category Status and they did not even respond when farmers started protesting about moving capital from Amaravathi.
"Now, they met YS Jagan for lands in Vizag and for some ticket rates. They ignore people's problems and issues conveniently and start stating that they are apolitical. But they want to be recognised as celebrities while they ignore same people who made them celebrities, in first place," commented Yamini, as Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Suresh Babu, Rajamouli, Dil Raju met AP CM YS Jagan on Tuesday, 09th June.
