The year 2005 was the year of comedies. Well, the success of films like Bunty Aur Babli and Garam Masala substantiate this. This year what does one expect? Thrillers, comedies, or Action. If predictions ARE to be believed, then the year ahead is dedicated to action packed films with a few family oriented ones here and there.

The action buffet this year offers moviegoers films like Vikram Chopra's Aryan, Fight Club by Sohail Khan, Tathastu by Sahara One Entertainment, Krish by Rakesh Roshan, Don by Farhan Akhtar, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's Eklaya, Sanjay Gadhvi's Dhoom 2, Ram Gopal Verma's Sholay, Taxi no. 9211 Nau Do Gyarah and so the list goes on.

Among family entertainers one looks forward to Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna towards the mid of this year. If trade pundits are to be believed, this film is expected to be the highest grosser this year. From what one has already seen in end-2005-beginning 2006, Zinda and Ek Ajnabee seem to have done a fairly good job at the box office. For the rest, let's wait and watch.
