Actor Arjun has been diagnosed with a corona infection. Commenting on the news on his Instagram page, actor Arjun said, “ Hi everyone. I have tested positive for covid-19. I have taken all the necessary protocols and isolated myself.i request everyone who has come in close contact with me to get themselves tested and take care. I'm doing well. Please stay safe everyone and don't forget about your masks just yet. Rama bhaktha hanuman ki, jai.

Earlier, the world-famous reality show Survivor Tamil was telecast on Zee Tamil TV. The show, which took place in the African islands, was hosted by actor Arjun. Vikranth, Nandaa, Narayan, Inigo Prabhakar, Umapathy, Saran, Lakshmipriya Chandramouli, Aishwarya Krishnan, Gayathri, Indraja Shankar, Besant Ravi and VJ Parvathy are some of the contestants on the show .

Vijaya Lakshmi was declared the title winner based on the votes of the contestants in the final of the show held on the African island. She was given a prize of one crore rupee. Arjun, who has been staying in Africa for the show, is said to have contracted Covid in Africa.

The Omicron infection, which was detected in Africa, is now spreading to many countries, including India. One person has so far succumbed to the corona infection that has spread to neighbouring states of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala. It is noteworthy that as a precautionary measure, the Tamil Nadu government has extended the curfew with relaxations.
