It's known that Chiranjeevi will be doing the Telugu remake of 'Vedhalam' (Tamil). It will be directed by Meher Ramesh of 'Shakti' fame.

The news is that the Ram-Lakshman duo has been roped in to mount action scenes in the movie. Since the Megastar will be seen in a massy role, the duo has been approached. They are most dependable when it comes to mass movies.

Produced by Anil Sunkara, the film will be shot in 2021. Recently, rumours said that either Sai Pallavi or Keerthy Suresh will be playing the 'Sye Raa' actor's sister in the movie.

As for its pre-production works, 'Chalo' music director Mahati Swara Sagar is on board. He is said to have started music sessions already.

Chiru recently tested a bald head look for the movie. He wants to sport the look in the second half. But he could give up the idea if the look draws comparisons with Rajinikanth's 'Sivaji' look.
