Acting runs in his bones

For debutant Gowtham, cast as a hero in Pallakilo Pellikooturu, acting should not be a problem.

For, it runs in his bone --- yes, you read it right, as his father is known for having the biggest and the best funny bone in the industry.

Gowtham is comedian Brahmanandam's son.

And that may perhaps be the problem for Gowtham as he has a reputation to live up to even before he has started.

But Gowtham thinks it is just as well. It is better to have some expectations than have nothing at all, is his reasoning.

He says that he has a meaty role in Pallakilo Pellikooturu.

Meaty or not, the film sure has a beauty ---- in the form of Suchitra Chnadrabose, the lady cinematographer, who is making her debut as a director through this film.

A protg of veteran Raghavendra Rao, Suchitra says that the films idea was gestating with her for a long time.

Tamil heroine Rathi is making a cross-over to Telugu for the first time through Pallakilo Pellikooturu.

The film is almost ready and there is an air of expectancy among those involved in it.

And it is more so for Gowtham.

For, he has to show that not everything that a comedian comes up with is laughable.
