Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor is all set to make a comeback with her upcoming film 'Jugjugg Jeeyo' which is less than a week away from its release. In a recent promotional interview for the same, the actress shared how she feels like she has become "an actress by choice" now. Neetu stated that from the beginning, it wasn't an conscious decision on her part to become an actress.
Recalling the initial phase of her career, Neetu told IANS, "You see when I started acting, I didn't even know what I was doing; as a child, your life was not in your hands...It was a situation where I was working as a child artist to support my family. By the time I grew up as a teenager, I felt extremely comfortable in front of the camera and acting was like a part of daily life. I was going with the flow honestly. Then I got married to the man I loved and I was the happiest with my family and children."
Talking about her time away from the camera, Neetu stated, "The offers for film kept coming and I kept on refusing. In between, I did a few special appearances, only because my husband told me, 'chal na, ye karte hai, kaam karke maza ayega'. He was my best friend too...Now, I am an actress by choice. Now, acting has become a part of my healing process."
Also starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani and Anil Kapoor among others, 'Jugjugg Jeeyo' is set to release on 24 of this month.
