‘Acharya’: Yellandu schedules gets official update

‘Acharya’, which was to be shot at Yellandu mines till March 15, has stalled its shoot for a few days. The shoot will resume on March 12 in the underground mines with a fight sequence involving Megastar and Sonu Sood. The action scenes were to be shot on Chiranjeevi and Sonu Sood on Wednesday and Thursday. But since Sonu Sood is busy with some other shoot, the schedule has been called off temporarily.

For now, the unit of ‘Acharya’ has left Yellandu. It’s learned that scenes involving Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan have been completed already at the Yellandu schedule so far.

Meanwhile, the film’s promotions are expected to be in full swing once the makers are confident that it will be released on May 13 in theatres.

Produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy, ‘Acharya’ has music and cinematography by Mani Sharma and Tirru, respectively. Kajal Aggarwal is paired up with Chiru.  Pooja Hegde is learned to have got a small role in the film.
