"Patalu cheppey alavatu lekunna andaru acharya antaru, bavusa gunapatalu cheppey alavatu vundanemo," says Chiranjeevi in the action-filled teaser of 'Acharya' released on Friday. Starring him in the titular role, the drama is directed by Koratala Siva.
Set in a temple town named Dharmasthali, the film will hit the screens this Summer. Chiranjeevi, who sported a thick beard in his previous outing 'Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy', here is in his 'Khaidi No. 150'-type facial look. This could also well be the most violent of Siva's films so far. The costumes are also contemporary.
We also get glimpses of production designer Suresh Selvarajan's temple set for the film.
With music by Mani Sharma (his BGM is thankfully not reminiscent of horror film vibes, unlike what the motion poster of the film had), 'Acharya' has cinematography by Tirru. Ram Charan is playing a key role, while Kajal Aggarwal is one of the heroines. The film is produced by Mega Power Star and Niranjan Reddy.
