The Telangana government has let the exhibitors of 'Acharya' hike the price of each ticket by Rs 50 on both single screens and multiplexes till May 5. The Koratala Siva directorial will hit the screens on April 29.

There is also the additional benefit of an extra show for one week.

'Acharya', starring Chiranjeevi in the lead, recently celebrated its pre-release event. Ram Charan has stated that he never knew when his role was turned into a 40-minute one in the second half of the film. Here is what the 'RRR' actor has said about the characterizations of Acharya and Siddha in the movie. "The former is a fighter, while the latter is wedded to non-violence. But both believe in Dharma. Their means are different, their goal is one. Siddha never loses his cool unless Dharma is subverted," he said in an interview.

Starring Pooja Hegde as Charan's heroine, the film has music by Mani Sharma.
