'Acharya', starring Chiranjeevi in the lead, is hitting the screens on April 29. The movie, a socio-political actioner directed by Koratala Siva, has received U/A certificate. The makers have described UA as 'Ultimate Action'.

The film's pre-release event will be held on Saturday at Yousufguda Police Grounds, Hyderabad.

In a recent interview, the film's director said that he could only think of 'Acharya' as the title because he deems the Megastar as an 'acharya' (teacher). The Summer release, co-starring Ram Charan, Kajal Aggarwal, Pooja Hegde and Sonu Sood, has music by Mani Sharma.

Mahesh Babu has lent his voice for the movie as a narrator. Taking to Twitter on Friday, he expressed happiness over the collaboration. "Always a pleasure associating with you Chiru sir & Ram Charan. Wishing team Acharya all the very best for its release!! (sic)," the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor tweeted.

With cinematography by Thiru, 'Acharya' is produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy.
