'Acharya': After TG, AP government issues 'hike' notification

The Andhra Pradesh government has let the exhibitors of 'Acharya' hike the price of each ticket by Rs 50 for all classes on both single screens and multiplexes for the first 10 days. The Koratala Siva directorial will hit the screens on April 29.
The YS Jaganmohan Reddy government has been allowing big-ticket films like 'RRR' and 'Radhe Shyam' to hike ticket prices on a case-by-case basis. It's now the turn of 'Acharya'.
Yesterday, the Telangana government allowed the 'Acharya' exhibitors to hike the ticket prices for the first five days, besides the luxury of an extra show per day. In Telangana, too, the hike is Rs 50 per ticket across categories.
'Acharya', starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan, has music by Mani Sharma. On Tuesday, the team of the film is going to interact with the Hyderabad-based media at a star hotel in Hyderabad.
In his latest interview, Chiru has expressed the wish that his son does mass comedies in the future.
