Acclaimed Hindi-Bengali actor roped in for 'Shyam Singha Roy'

Nani's 'Shyam Singha Roy', which has been shot in Kolkata, has made a new addition to its casting list. Jisshu Sengupta, the well-known Bengali and Hindi actor, will be essaying a key role in the Rahul Sankrityan directorial.
The actor was seen in Nithin's blockbuster 'Bheeshma' in 2020. He also played a negative role in 'Aswathama'. Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan's 'Acharya' and the Jayalalitha biopic 'Thalaivi' are among his other upcoming south Indian movies.
Coming to 'SSR', Sai Pallavi is its first heroine. 'Uppena' sensation Krithi Shetty will be seen in a key role. Madonna Sebastian of 'Premam' fame is also a heroine. Produced by Venkat S Boyanapalli, Mickey J Meyer is its music director. Rahul Ravindran, Murali Sharma and Abhinav Gomatam are part of the cast.
Meanwhile, Nani is gearing up for the release of Shiva Nirvana's 'Tuck Jagadish' on April 23.
