Arun Jaitley, who is undergoing treatment in the US for an ailment, has rubbished the reports that NSSO survey found high incidence of unemployment in the country in 2017-18. As per news reports, the unrevealed survey found that it's the highest in the last 45 years.
Speaking to a news agency, Arun Jaitley has said that it's nothing but disinformation. "The economy has grown at a high rate. The nominal GDP has been as high as 12-13 percent. It would be an economic absurdity to believe that jobs are not being created at a time when the country is witnessing high economic growth," the Finance Minister said.
Earlier, acting FM Piyush Goyal too trashed the talk that there is high rate of unemployment in the country.
