Naalai is an electrifying story of the trials and tribulations of two violent gangsters - Justin (Richard) and Nattu (Nataraj Subramanian).
Set against the pulsating mafia underworld, Justin and Nattu grow up to become the key lynch pins of Nair (Nasser). They are two reckless, hot-blooded youngsters who know nothing better that what the underworld has taught them.
Having played with real ammunition instead of plastic, they lead a dry, listless life that unfolds each tomorrow with no fascination. Death to them is a game, a deal better than life.
The only force that binds them and gets them going is their friendship. Theirs is a bond sworn in oblivion that has unknowingly given them a reason to live.
As they grow, expanding and finding them in a hard-hitting world, the essence of their friendship infuses the magic of love for life in them.
However, there comes a moment in one tomorrow that changes their lives, forever It unravels as the story unfolds to its explosive and unexpected finale.
The film has been produced by internationally renowned documentary filmmaker and cinematographer S. Nallamuthu. The story has been written and directed by Udayabanu Maheshwaran, eminent story and screenplay writer from mainstream Hindi cinema. G. Ramesh is the cinematographer, Karthik Raja the music director, lyrics by Na. Muthukumar, art direction by S. Maniraj, stunts by Super Subbarayan and choreography by Shanti Srihari.
