On Sunday, a rumour went out that RV Prasad, Operations In-charge of Gemini FX, had slapped a complaint against renowned Tollywood writer-producer Kona Venkat.  As per the reports, Kona Venkat had taken an advance payment of Rs 13 lakh from RV Prasad many years ago with the promise of delivering a story.  The baseless reports said that no story was delivered, nor did Venkat return the advance money.

Turns out that the news is totally false.  RV Prasad himself has penned an open letter, saying that there is miscommunication, adding that the media had reported about the incident without due diligence.  He condemned the news and added that there is no issue between him and Kona Venkat.  Whatever was there, it was amicably settled between the two.  

As such, there is no police case.
