Director Tammareddy Bharadwaj, who has taken a serious issue in his Pothe Poni hopes that the movie would click well among the mass. The movie is likely to release in the third week of December.

The director claims it is his best film so far and says 'it is close to my heart.' Sindhu Tolani plays an important role in the film, while Shiva Balaji is the male lead. The film has musical score by Micky J Meyer.

Produced on the banner of Dreamteam Entertainments, Pothe Poni is all about bringing peace to Naxal-infested villages in Telangana.

However, Bharadwaj claims that it also has a beautiful love story and soothing music besides a strong message.
