Abirami Ramanathan the President of the Theater Owner's Association has announced that they are happy with the government decision to hike the ticket price and also the reduction of Local Body Entertainment Tax from 10% to 8%.

Ramanathan has assured that even if a big star film is released the ticket price will not be sold at a higher price than the government stipulated one.  He has also stated that the food and beverages at the canteens will be sold at MRP and that they are also open to selling Amma Water costing Rs.10/- at the counters.  Regarding the online booking charges and parking fees the association is set to meet tomorrow (14/10/2017) to arrive at a proper decision.
