Abhishek Pictures, which has distributed some successful movies in the past, has acquired the Nizam area rights of Rajinikanth's crazy July 22 release - Kabali. The distribution house is learnt to have shelled out a fancy prize for this movie's rights.

In Telugu, Hindi and Tamil combined, the much-awaited film will hit the screens in about 333 threatres across the Nizam area. This is a gargantuan release and going by the amount of craze for this Superstar-starrer, openings are expected to be astronomical.

Speaking on the occasion, Abhishek Aggarwal, one of the partners at Abhishek Pictures said, "We are very proud to be releasing Kabali on July 22. One hour ago from now, bookings opened in Sudharshan 35MM and Prasadz IMAX and the response has been huge."

Meanwhile, the gangster drama has done a pre-release business of about Rs. 200 cr.
