'Dostana 2' is in news news these due to Kartik Aaryan's departure halfway through the film. The cast and crew will reshoot the film with a new actor and here's what Abhishek has to say about it. He said, “Thankfully, it’s a comedy and I’m not emotionally troubled by these stories. Revisiting emotionally charged scenes could have been tough. Comedy comes with its own set of challenges, but I’m not thinking about how we will re-shoot Dostana 2. So, I can’t say whether it will be difficult to recreate those moments again."

The actor further added, "Comedies require you to be spontaneous and yet stay true to your character. With all that is happening with the film, the situations could be completely different, one might have to approach the same scenes with a completely new take or there may be newer scenes - I don’t know anything about it yet. All I know is that it’s never happened to me before, so I don’t know at the moment how things will pan out and when the shoot could commence again."
