Superstars from Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan and Abhishek Bachchan are scheduled to team for an exciting movie called "King." Shah Rukh Khan is ready for another big project following the great popularity of his movies "Pathaan" and "Jawan." Produced by Siddharth Anand and guided by the critically praised Sujoy Ghosh, famed for "Kahaani," "King" seems to be a visually spectacular action thriller.

PeepingMoon claims Abhishek Bachchan will be the adversary opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Although specifics of his persona are kept under wraps, sources suggest he will play a clever and multifarious villain, deviating from his normal roles. This totally negative part is supposed to draw attention to Abhishek's adaptability and acting ability in a fresh perspective.

Furthermore expected to include an acting debut in "King" is Shah Rukh Khan's daughter Suhana Khan. She will play a major role alongside her father, even though certain specifics about her involvement are yet unknown. Though they had already worked together in movies like "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and "Happy New Year," this will be the first time Shah Rukh and Abhishek square off on a film. For Abhishek, this production marks his first with Siddharth Anand and his second with Sujoy Ghosh following "Bob Biswas".

Under pre-production right now, "King" is supposed to start shooting in October–November 2024. The movie is set for release late 2025 or early 2026. It will be created under the Marflix banner of Siddharth Anand in collaboration with Red Chillies Entertainment run by Shah Rukh Khan.
